On Sundays, our Cellar Door is open from 11am to 4pm and we welcome walk-ins. During the week, booking ahead is the best way to ensure we can host you.

Tastings typically take around 45–60 minutes, allowing time to explore the wines at a relaxed pace.

Our wine tastings showcase a selection from both the Penelope and Radburnd ranges, including Rosé, Chardonnay, Syrah and Merlot Cabernet. If you let us know your preferences when booking, we’re very happy to tailor the tasting where possible.

We do not operate a restaurant, however Hawke’s Bay offers a number of excellent options and we’re always happy to guide you in the right direction.

Yes, our wine tastings are hosted indoors, ensuring a comfortable experience regardless of the conditions.

No, payment is taken at the time of your visit. This also allows us to waive the tasting fee if you choose to purchase wine.

Our tasting fee is waived with the purchase of two or more bottles.

We are best suited to groups of up to six guests. For larger groups, please get in touch and we can discuss what may be possible.

Children are welcome when accompanied by an adult. As our tastings are designed to be relaxed and focused, we do ask that they are supervised at all times.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome outdoors. Please keep them on a lead and be mindful of the grounds.

Yes, all wines available for tasting can be purchased onsite.

You can take your wine with you on the day, or we can arrange delivery throughout New Zealand and Australia, including gift deliveries.

If you're a Wine Club member placing an additional order throughout the year, simply use your Club email at checkout, or make sure you're logged into your account to receive your member pricing on our Radburnd wines and magnums.

Shipping is complimentary on any purchase of six bottles or more

You will be charged at the time of placing your first Club order, with your membership renewing each year using the card saved to your account. We’ll always send you a reminder email two weeks before your annual shipment, giving you plenty of time to update your shipping or billing details.

You can also log in to your account at any time to manage your details, payment method and wine selections.

We courier our wine with Aramex either on the same day of payment or the following day. The only exception is Friday purchases, which are sent the following Monday to avoid being stored in uncontrolled conditions over the weekend.

No, the Penelope range is already priced at the lowest economically feasible margins we can manage (its grapes come from the same vineyards as our flagship wines!)
